DESCRIPTION
The Gear Housing, also known as Part Number BM79482, is an essential component of a truck's transmission system. It serves as a protective casing for the gears and bearings inside the transmission. The Gear Housing is typically made of sturdy materials such as cast iron or aluminum to withstand the high levels of stress and heat generated by the transmission. It also provides support for other parts of the transmission system, such as the shift forks and synchronizer rings.
