Gearshaft
The Gearshaft (part number 100132) is a vital component of the transmission system in a truck. It is responsible for transmitting power from the engine to the wheels through the gearbox. The Gearshaft consists of a series of gears, each with different ratios, which allows for efficient transfer of power at varying speeds. The gearset is mounted on bearings and rotates on a fixed axis within the transmission housing. The Gearshaft also includes synchronizers which are used to match speeds between gears during shifting, ensuring smooth transitions between gears.
