Governor Plunger:

The Governor Plunger is a vital component in the fuel system of a diesel engine. Its primary function is to regulate the flow of fuel to the engine and prevent it from exceeding a certain speed limit. It achieves this by controlling the amount of fuel that enters the injection pump, thereby limiting the maximum RPM of the engine. The Governor Plunger works in conjunction with other parts such as springs, weights, and levers, to maintain a consistent speed and prevent over-revving. In short, this part plays an important role in ensuring that your truck operates safely and efficiently.
