DESCRIPTION
The Governor Bracket, also known by part number 3046098, is a component found in diesel engines of trucks. It is responsible for controlling the engine speed and maintaining it within a safe range. The bracket houses the governor assembly, which consists of weights and springs that apply force to the fuel system. As the engine speed increases or decreases, the governor assembly adjusts the fuel delivery accordingly by opening or closing valves in the fuel system. The Governor Bracket is essential for maintaining optimal engine performance while ensuring safe operation of diesel-powered trucks.
