DESCRIPTION
The Governor Plunger Drive (part number AR40232) is a component found in diesel engines that helps regulate the speed of the engine. It consists of a plunger, which is driven by the engine's camshaft, and a governor flyweight assembly. As the engine speed increases, centrifugal force causes the flyweights to move outward, which in turn pushes on the plunger.
