DESCRIPTION
The Governor Plunger is a component of the fuel injection system in a truck engine. It regulates the amount of fuel that enters the engine by controlling the pressure in the fuel system. The plunger is responsible for maintaining a constant speed and preventing the engine from over-revving, which can cause damage to internal components. The Governor Plunger works in conjunction with other parts of the injection system, such as the injector pump and fuel injectors, to ensure optimal performance and efficiency. If this part fails, it can result in poor acceleration, decreased power output, and increased fuel consumption.
