DESCRIPTION
The Connecting Rod Checking Guide (part number ST800) is a tool used in the inspection process of an engine's connecting rods. It is designed to ensure that the connecting rods are straight and have not been warped or damaged during use. The guide consists of a cylindrical body with two precision ground rollers at each end, allowing it to be inserted into the bore of the connecting rod while still attached to the crankshaft. Once inserted, the guide is rotated to check for any deviations from perfect roundness in the connecting rod bore.
