DESCRIPTION
A heat exchanger is a component used in a vehicle's turbocharger system. Specifically, the Heat Exchanger 40 Wastegate Turbocharger with part number 3802699RX is designed to regulate exhaust gas flow and prevent over-boosting in diesel engines. It does this by utilizing a wastegate valve to divert excess exhaust gas away from the turbine wheel, which reduces boost pressure and prevents damage to the engine. The heat exchanger portion of this component helps to cool down the exhaust gases before they enter the turbocharger, improving overall performance and efficiency.
