DESCRIPTION
The Turbocharger Heat Exchanger, also known as a Charge Air Cooler, is a component of a turbocharged engine system. It is responsible for cooling the compressed air that comes from the turbocharger before it enters the engine. The heat exchanger works by passing ambient air over a series of fins through which the compressed air flows. As the ambient air passes over these fins, it absorbs heat from the compressed air, thereby reducing its temperature and increasing its density. This cooler and denser air results in improved combustion efficiency and increased power output from the engine. The Turbocharger Heat Exchanger is an essential part of any high-performance diesel truck and can be found in various applications such as heavy-duty trucks, buses, and construction equipment.
