DESCRIPTION
A Heat Exchanger 82 Drying Turbocharger (part number: 4955346RX) is a component of a truck's engine that helps to cool the compressed air in the turbocharger, which can become very hot due to the compression process. The heat exchanger uses coolant from the engine's cooling system to reduce the temperature of the compressed air before it enters the engine's intake manifold. This helps to improve engine efficiency and performance by increasing the density of the air available for combustion, resulting in more power and better fuel economy. Additionally, this specific part has an 82 drying feature which removes any moisture from the compressed air before it enters the engine, preventing corrosion and other damage.
