DESCRIPTION
A Heat Exchanger 40 Wastegate Turbocharger, identified by part number 4955658RX, is a component of a truck's engine system that regulates the boost pressure produced by the turbocharger. It achieves this by diverting some of the exhaust gases away from the turbine wheel, which reduces its speed and therefore reduces boost pressure. The Heat Exchanger 40 Wastegate Turbocharger also contains a heat exchanger that cools down the compressed air before it enters the engine's intake manifold.
