DESCRIPTION
The Liner Kit (Part Number BM98175) for Cummins® commercial trucks is a set of components that includes cylinder liners. Cylinder liners are cylindrical sleeves that are inserted into the engine block's cylinder bores. They provide a smooth and durable surface for the piston to move up and down within the cylinder. The liner kit ensures proper sealing and lubrication between the piston rings and the cylinder walls, preventing leakage of combustion gases and engine oil. It also helps dissipate heat effectively, maintaining optimal engine temperature.
