DESCRIPTION
A locknut, designated by part number 3104738, is a type of nut that is used to prevent loosening of a bolt or screw. It has a thread on the inside and an outer hexagonal shape for easy tightening with a wrench. The locknut also has a small nylon insert that creates resistance against back-off rotation.
