DESCRIPTION
The oil cooler housing is a component of the engine cooling system, designed to regulate the temperature and flow of oil through the engine. It is responsible for directing oil from the engine block to the oil cooler, where it is cooled before returning to lubricate the moving parts of the engine. The oil cooler housing is typically located near or on top of the engine block and consists of a housing with ports for oil inlet and outlet, as well as connections for coolant lines. The part number for this component is 146306.
