An Oil Seal, also known as a shaft seal, is a mechanical component used to prevent the leakage of lubricants and fluids in the engine or transmission systems of a truck. The Oil Seal 163785 is designed to fit precisely into the housing bore and create a tight seal around the rotating shaft. This prevents oil from leaking out and contaminants from entering, which could cause damage to other components or reduce efficiency. Made from high-quality materials like rubber, silicone or PTFE, these seals are resistant to wear and tear caused by friction, heat and chemicals. Regular inspection and replacement of worn-out Oil Seals can help maintain optimal performance and extend the lifespan of your truck's engine or transmission system.
