DESCRIPTION
The oil pan (part number 193631) is a component of the engine that serves as a reservoir for the engine oil. It is typically located at the bottom of the engine and is bolted onto the engine block. The oil pan collects oil that has circulated through the engine and directs it to the oil pump, which then circulates it back through the engine. The oil pan also contains an oil drain plug, which can be removed to drain old or contaminated oil from the system during an oil change.
