Oil Gauge Tube
The oil gauge tube, also known as the oil level indicator tube, is a component in a truck's engine that measures the level of oil in the engine. It connects to the oil pan and extends up to the oil pressure gauge on the dashboard. The tube is typically made of metal and has markings indicating the minimum and maximum levels of oil. As oil circulates through the engine, it fills up the tube and raises or lowers its position accordingly. This allows drivers to monitor their engine's oil level at all times, ensuring proper lubrication and preventing potential damage due to low levels of oil.
