DESCRIPTION
A wear sleeve, also known as a shaft seal, is a circular component made of durable material such as steel or rubber that is designed to protect the surface of the truck's engine or transmission shaft from damage caused by friction and wear. The wear sleeve fits tightly over the shaft to prevent oil or other fluids from leaking out while also preventing harmful contaminants from entering the system. Part number 3637402 refers specifically to a wear sleeve that is compatible with certain truck models and may be used as a replacement part when necessary.
