DESCRIPTION
An oil seal, also known as a shaft seal, is a component used to prevent oil or other fluids from leaking out of the engine. The 4006179 oil seal is typically made of synthetic rubber or silicone and is designed to fit around the circumference of a rotating shaft. It works by creating a barrier between the stationary and moving parts of the engine, preventing any lubricating fluids from escaping.
