DESCRIPTION
A wear sleeve is a component installed on a truck's crankshaft to protect it from damage caused by seal lip abrasion. The wear sleeve, also known as a speedi-sleeve, is made of stainless steel and designed to be pressed onto the crankshaft surface. The part number 4331825 refers to a specific wear sleeve model that fits certain truck engines. When installed correctly, the wear sleeve creates a smooth surface for the seal lip to ride on, preventing leaks and prolonging the life of both the crankshaft and seals.
