DESCRIPTION
The Lubricating Oil Filter Head, also known as part number AR1018, is a component of the engine's lubrication system in a truck. Its main function is to hold and secure the lubricating oil filter in place while allowing oil to flow through it for filtration. The filter head is designed with an inlet and outlet port that connects to the oil filter housing and the engine block respectively. It also features a bypass valve that opens when the oil pressure is too high or when the filter becomes clogged, allowing unfiltered oil to bypass the filter element temporarily. The Lubricating Oil Filter Head plays an important role in maintaining clean engine oil, which helps prevent premature wear and damage to internal engine components.
