DESCRIPTION
The Oil Gauge Bayonet, also known as part number 199998, is a component found in trucks that is responsible for measuring the oil pressure. It consists of a metal shaft with a small, pointed end that fits into the oil pressure gauge. The other end of the shaft is threaded and screws into the engine block or oil filter housing. As oil flows through the engine, it creates pressure which is measured by the gauge through this bayonet. This information allows drivers to monitor their truck's oil pressure and make adjustments as needed to ensure proper engine function.
