DESCRIPTION
The Idle Spring Plunger is a component of the fuel system in a truck engine. It is designed to regulate the amount of fuel that enters the engine when the accelerator pedal is not being pressed. The plunger, which is typically made of durable materials like steel or brass, works by compressing a spring that controls the flow of fuel into the engine. When the accelerator pedal is released, the plunger pushes against a diaphragm in the carburetor or fuel injection system to reduce fuel flow and prevent excess fuel from entering the engine.
