DESCRIPTION
The Center Tube, also known as the Drive Shaft Center Support Bearing, is a component found in vehicles with rear-wheel or four-wheel drive. It supports and stabilizes the drive shaft by providing a mounting point for the center of the shaft. The Center Tube is typically made of metal and includes a bearing that allows for smooth rotation. Over time, the bearing may wear out or become damaged, resulting in vibrations and noise from the drive shaft. If this occurs, it is recommended to replace the Center Tube to prevent further damage to other components in the drivetrain.
