DESCRIPTION
The Wastegate Actuator Kit (part number 3595878) is a component in a turbocharged engine that controls the amount of exhaust gas flow to the turbine wheel. This kit includes an actuator, rod, and bracket that work together to regulate the pressure of the wastegate valve. The actuator is connected to the turbocharger and uses vacuum pressure to open or close the wastegate valve based on the engine's needs. If there is too much boost pressure, the wastegate opens to release some of it and prevent damage to the engine. On the other hand, if there is not enough boost pressure, it closes to increase performance. The Wastegate Actuator Kit helps maintain proper engine performance and efficiency by regulating exhaust gas flow in a turbocharged system.
