DESCRIPTION
The Starter Motor (part number 3603863RX) is an electrical component found in trucks that is responsible for starting the engine. It consists of a powerful electric motor and a gear system that drives the engine's flywheel to turn over the engine. When the ignition key is turned, an electrical signal is sent to engage the starter solenoid, which in turn energizes the starter motor. The motor then spins rapidly, turning over the engine until it fires up and runs on its own. A malfunctioning starter motor can result in difficulty starting or even complete failure to start your truck's engine.
