DESCRIPTION
The Cummins Elecmag fn Clutch, part number 3666116, is an electromagnetic clutch used in heavy-duty trucks. This component is responsible for engaging and disengaging the compressor on the air conditioning system. When activated, the clutch magnetically couples the pulley on the compressor to the engine's rotating crankshaft, allowing it to spin and compress refrigerant. When deactivated, it decouples the pulley from the crankshaft, allowing it to spin freely without affecting engine performance.
