DESCRIPTION
The Inlet Catalyst Module (Part Number: 5287481RX) manufactured by Cummins® is a component that is installed in the exhaust system of commercial trucks. Its primary function is to reduce harmful emissions produced by the engine. The Inlet Catalyst Module is specifically designed to treat and convert nitrogen oxides (NOx) into less harmful substances, such as nitrogen and water vapor, through a process called selective catalytic reduction (SCR).
