DESCRIPTION
A catalyst module, also known as a catalytic converter, is an emissions control device that reduces toxic gases and pollutants from the exhaust system of an internal combustion engine. The catalyst module contains a honeycomb-like structure made of precious metals such as platinum, palladium, and rhodium. When exhaust gases pass through this structure, chemical reactions occur that convert harmful pollutants into less harmful compounds. The catalyst module is an essential component in meeting emissions standards set by government regulations.
