DESCRIPTION
The Catalyst Module, also known as a catalytic converter, is an emissions control device found in the exhaust system of a truck. It is designed to convert harmful pollutants in the engine's exhaust gases into less harmful ones before they are released into the atmosphere. The module consists of a ceramic honeycomb structure coated with precious metals such as platinum, palladium or rhodium which act as catalysts to promote chemical reactions between the exhaust gases and oxygen. This process reduces emissions of carbon monoxide, nitrogen oxides and hydrocarbons that contribute to air pollution. The Catalyst Module is essential for ensuring compliance with environmental regulations and maintaining good air quality.
