DESCRIPTION
The Inlet Catalyst Module (part number 5509702) is a component of the aftertreatment system used in Cummins® commercial trucks. It is designed to reduce emissions by converting harmful pollutants in the exhaust gas into less harmful substances before they are released into the atmosphere. The Inlet Catalyst Module is typically located near the front of the aftertreatment system and is made up of a substrate coated with a catalyst material that promotes the chemical reactions necessary for emissions reduction.
