DESCRIPTION
The Starter Motor, also known as the cranking motor, is an essential component of a truck's engine system. It is responsible for turning over the engine when the ignition key is turned, using electrical power from the battery to create rotational energy to start the engine. The starter motor consists of a powerful electric motor that drives a small gear called a pinion, which engages with the flywheel on the engine's crankshaft. When engaged, it turns the crankshaft and initiates combustion in each cylinder to start the vehicle. The Starter Motor generally operates only when needed and automatically disengages once it has started.
