DESCRIPTION
The Piston Cooling Nozzle, otherwise known as part number 3687058, is a component found in diesel engines. Its primary purpose is to spray oil onto the underside of the piston to cool it down and prevent overheating. This nozzle is typically made of metal and is located in the engine block or cylinder head. It works in conjunction with other engine components, such as the oil pump and oil filter, to ensure proper lubrication and cooling of the engine's moving parts. Without the proper functioning of this component, an engine may experience reduced performance or even total failure due to overheating.
