DESCRIPTION
A piston kit, identified by part number 4090013, is a component of an internal combustion engine found in trucks. It consists of a piston, piston rings, and wrist pin. The piston is the cylindrical component that moves up and down within the engine cylinder as fuel is ignited. The piston rings are fitted around the outside of the piston to create a seal with the cylinder wall and prevent oil from leaking into the combustion chamber. The wrist pin connects the piston to the connecting rod which transfers motion to the crankshaft. A properly functioning piston kit is essential for efficient engine performance and power output in trucks.
