DESCRIPTION
A piston kit, identified by part number 4309450, is an essential component of an engine's combustion chamber. The kit consists of a piston, piston rings, and retaining clips. The piston moves up and down within the cylinder bore to compress air and fuel during the intake stroke and ignite it during the power stroke. The piston rings create a seal between the piston and cylinder wall to prevent leakage of gases into the crankcase below. Retaining clips hold everything together in place. A damaged or worn-out piston kit can lead to poor engine performance or complete engine failure, so it is important to replace them as needed.
