DESCRIPTION
A piston ring set is a collection of metal rings that fit around the piston in an engine. Specifically, this set has rings with a thickness of 0.50mm and a part number of 4955480. The rings help seal the combustion chamber so that the fuel mixture is properly compressed and burned. They also regulate oil consumption by scraping excess oil off the cylinder walls and returning it to the oil pan. A piston ring set ensures smooth engine operation and prevents loss of power due to poor compression or excessive oil consumption.
