The Piston Assembly Replacement is a vital component of an engine that converts the force of fuel combustion into mechanical energy. It consists of a piston, piston rings, and wrist pin. The piston moves up and down inside the cylinder bore, compressing the air-fuel mixture before ignition and pushing the exhaust gases out after combustion. The piston rings provide a seal between the piston and cylinder walls to prevent leakage of gases, while the wrist pin connects the piston to the connecting rod. Over time, wear or damage to any part of this assembly can lead to loss of compression, reduced power output or engine failure altogether.
