DESCRIPTION
A Piston Ring Kit is a set of rings that are installed around the piston in an engine. The rings seal the gap between the piston and the cylinder wall to prevent combustion gases from escaping into the crankcase. They also regulate oil consumption by scraping excess oil off of the cylinder walls and returning it to the oil pan. Part Number 5344780 is a specific Piston Ring Kit designed for use in a truck engine, with each kit containing all necessary rings for one piston.
