DESCRIPTION
The Piston Ring Kit (Part Number: 5345277) for the Cummins® commercial truck is a set of circular metal rings that are placed around the piston inside the engine cylinder. These rings serve multiple important functions within the engine. They help to seal the combustion chamber and prevent the leakage of gases between the piston and cylinder wall. Additionally, the piston rings aid in regulating the amount of oil that enters the combustion chamber and lubricates the walls of the cylinder. This ensures smooth movement of the piston while minimizing friction and wear.
