Leak Test Plate is a component designed to detect any leakage in the cooling system of a vehicle. It is usually made of metal or plastic material and has a specific part number, which is 5298824. The plate works by being placed over the opening where coolant enters the engine, and pressurized air is then pumped into the system. Any leaks will be detected as air escapes from the system through them. This tool helps to identify potential issues with the cooling system that could lead to engine damage or failure if not addressed promptly.
