DESCRIPTION
A leak test plate is a truck component with a part number of 5395045 that is used to detect leaks in the air system of the vehicle. It is typically made of metal and has several small holes drilled into it, which are used to measure air pressure. The plate is placed over the inlet port of the air compressor, and air pressure is applied to the system. If there are any leaks in the system, the pressure will drop and this can be detected by observing changes in pressure on the gauge connected to the plate. This allows mechanics to quickly diagnose and repair any leaks, ensuring that the truck's braking system operates safely and efficiently.
