DESCRIPTION
An expansion plug (part number: 3912900) is a type of sealing device used in the engine block to prevent leaks. It is typically made of metal and fits into a hole in the engine block where it expands to create a tight seal. Expansion plugs are also known as freeze plugs because they can pop out if the coolant freezes, preventing damage to the engine block.
