DESCRIPTION
An Expansion Plug Installer, also known as a freeze plug installer, is a tool used to install expansion plugs into an engine block or cylinder head. The expansion plugs, also called freeze plugs or core plugs, are designed to pop out if the coolant in the engine freezes and expands. They are typically made of brass or steel and can be difficult to install without the proper tool. The Expansion Plug Installer 5298545 is specifically designed for use on Cummins engines and makes installing expansion plugs quick and easy. This tool ensures that the plug is installed evenly and securely, preventing leaks and maintaining proper engine function.
