DESCRIPTION
An expansion plug, also known as a freeze plug or core plug, is a small circular piece of metal designed to seal off an engine block's coolant passages. The S719 Expansion Plug is a specific model that fits into the engine block to temporarily protect it from freezing temperatures during winter months. It functions by popping out of the block if the coolant freezes and expands, preventing damage to the engine. This plug is typically made of steel and can be easily replaced if damaged or worn out.
