DESCRIPTION
The Sea Water Pump Impeller is a component of the cooling system in marine engines. It is responsible for pumping seawater into the engine's cooling system to regulate its temperature. The impeller is made of rubber or plastic and has blades that rotate as it spins on a shaft. As the impeller rotates, it creates suction that draws water into the pump and then forces it through hoses to cool various engine components such as the engine block, cylinder head, and exhaust manifolds. Over time, impellers can wear out or become damaged which can lead to decreased performance or even overheating of the engine. Therefore, regular inspection and replacement of this part is essential for maintaining proper engine function.
