DESCRIPTION
The Doser Pump with part number 5505779RX is an essential component of the selective catalytic reduction (SCR) system in modern diesel trucks. This pump is responsible for injecting a precise amount of diesel exhaust fluid (DEF) into the exhaust stream to reduce harmful emissions. The DEF is stored in a separate tank and the Doser Pump draws it in and injects it into the hot exhaust gases. The pump operates using compressed air, which pushes on a diaphragm to move the DEF through the injection nozzle.
