DESCRIPTION
The Doser Pump (part number 5506527) is an essential component of a truck's Selective Catalytic Reduction (SCR) system. It is responsible for precisely injecting Diesel Exhaust Fluid (DEF) into the exhaust stream to reduce harmful Nitrogen Oxide (NOx) emissions. The pump operates using compressed air and features a solenoid valve that controls the flow rate of DEF. The Doser Pump ensures that the proper amount of DEF is injected into the exhaust stream, resulting in optimal SCR system performance and compliance with emissions regulations.
