DESCRIPTION
A Wiring Harness, also known as a cable harness, is an organized set of wires, terminals and connectors that transmit electrical power and signals between various components of a vehicle. The Wiring Harness acts as the central nervous system of a truck's electrical system, connecting different parts such as the battery, alternator, starter motor, lights and sensors. The Wiring Harness reduces the complexity of the wiring system and prevents damage from abrasion or environmental factors by bundling all wires together in one protective cover. Part Number 2899139 refers to a specific type of Wiring Harness designed for use in particular models or applications.
