DESCRIPTION
Antipolishing Ring (part number 3689871) is a component of the Cummins® diesel engine that is designed to prevent the buildup of carbon deposits on the piston ring. This ring is made of a special material that resists wear and tear, and it is located on the top of the piston. The antipolishing ring helps to maintain engine performance and efficiency by reducing the amount of friction between the piston and cylinder wall.
