DESCRIPTION
Antipolishing Ring (part number 4013651) is a component of the Cummins® diesel engine that is designed to prevent cylinder liner wear. It is a small ring that is installed at the top of the cylinder liner, which helps to reduce the amount of friction between the piston rings and the cylinder wall. This helps to prevent the cylinder liner from becoming polished, which can lead to increased oil consumption and reduced engine performance over time.
